Lucia Caminos is the first female protagonist in the series’ mainline entries to have full voice acting and narrative weight. For her family’s sake she ended up in a Leonida prison, then was released by a twist of fate. Once free, she took the lesson to heart and resolved to calculate every step. Her mother had dreamed of a better life back in Liberty City, and that determination is now Lucia’s core motivation. She is done with fantasy; she intends to take her future with her own hands. The official line — “the only things that matter in this world are the people you deal with and the money in your hand” — sums up her realism. She sees life with Jason as a possible way out. After a simple robbery goes wrong, the two are pulled into a conspiracy that spans the state, and they have to lean on each other more than ever. Lucia is smart, ruthless, and ambitious, but more calculating than she used to be. She is both the emotional core and a major driver of the action.

Cal Hampton

Cal Hampton is Jason’s friend and also works for Brian. What makes him feel safest is staying home with a beer, eavesdropping on Coast Guard radio, and browsing the web in incognito mode. Rockstar captures his worldview with “what if everything online is real?” He is a bit paranoid and likes company, yet happily occupies the rhythm of the underworld’s lower rungs. Dre’Quan Priest

Dre’Quan Priest cares more about making money than about running with a gang properly. He gets by selling drugs, but breaking into the music industry is the real goal. He has now signed Real Dimez and runs Only Raw Records with Boobie. Rockstar writes that his days booking shows at Boobie’s strip club may be numbered, because his eyes are on Vice City’s stages. Dre’Quan is an ambitious producer who needs a genuine hit to prove himself. He understands the street hustle and how to turn an audience into a business. For the protagonists he may be a key contact on music-related missions; for Real Dimez he is the one pushing them onto bigger stages. Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy)

Bae-Luxe and Roxy have been friends since high school and perform together as Real Dimez. With their smarts, they turned their time shaking down local dealers into cold, hard cash, powered by spicy rap tracks and a relentless social media presence. An early hit single with local rapper DWNPLY shot them to wider attention. Five years later, after plenty of trouble, they have signed to Only Raw Records, hoping their luck strikes twice. Rockstar describes them with “viral videos. Hit tracks.” and “one hit away from fame.” The duo blends street experience, rap talent, and online reach into a vivid symbol of modern Leonida entertainment culture. Players will likely interact with them through social media feeds, club performances, or studio scenes.

Raul Bautista

Raul Bautista is confident, charming, and sharp, an experienced bank robber. He is always looking for people willing to bet everything on a big payoff. Rockstar stresses that “experience is capital” and notes that his recklessness sends the risk of every job straight up. The crew will eventually have to choose: double down or walk away. Raul is not a street-level thug but a genuine professional, skilled at building a crew and drawing up a plan. In the Extended Look he fled in the same car as Jason and Lucia, hinting that he could be a key figure in a major heist. He draws people in with charm and experience and tests them with escalating risk, the archetypal symbol of high risk and high reward.

Brian Heder

Rockstar describes Brian Heder as “a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys.” These days he runs the boat yard with his third wife, Lori, still moving product.
