The Official Album: Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album
On September 17, 2026, Rockstar and Atlantic Records officially announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. The album contains 34 original tracks written for the game, launches on November 19 alongside the game’s release day, and will be available on CD and vinyl.
The first six singles are already available to stream:
- Yung Lean feat. Future & Metro Boomin — That’s It
- Travis Scott — RHYNO (produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo)
- CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.., Étienne de Crécy — Sexy Magic
- Morgan Wallen — Last Thing You Need
- Rauw Alejandro — Macacoa 2000
- Keith Richards — Bright Lights, Big City
The styles span hip-hop, electronic, country, Latin, and rock, closely echoing the mix of cultures in Leonida: from the pulse of Vice City’s nightclubs to the highway mood of southern country and on to the warm rhythms of its Latin communities.

Classic Tracks from the Trailers and Gameplay
The official trailers have already used several iconic songs:
- Trailer 1: Tom Petty — Love Is a Long Road
- Trailer 2: The Pointer Sisters — Hot Together, Jay Ferguson — Thunder Island, and more
The Extended Look gameplay footage also featured Depeche Mode, Phil Collins, Captain & Tennille, and Prefab Sprout, drawing on different eras and styles and showing the breadth of the radio catalog.
Where the Radio System Stands
Rockstar has not yet announced the full station list or DJ lineup. The clearest hint so far is protagonist Jason wearing a T-shirt with the V-Rock logo; the station was the rock channel in the classic Vice City, suggesting it may be coming back.
Leaks and community analysis have surfaced several potential station names, including Emotion 98.3 (a soft-rock station that may return), CircoLoco Records Radio (the electronic label that works with Rockstar), Dirty South Classics, Back Country Radio, and Cocoteo FM, covering rock, hip-hop, Latin, country, and electronic styles. None of this is officially confirmed, and the final lineup will be settled at release.
As for the interface, the gameplay footage suggests station switching may use a swipe menu, with an “On-Demand” option for quickly tuning into popular channels.

How Music Fits into the Game World
GTA6’s music system is expected to follow the series tradition: each station has its own DJ, ads, and local flavor, making up an important part of the open world’s atmosphere. In-game fictional artists such as the Real Dimez sit alongside real stars’ tracks, further blurring the line between fiction and reality.
The addition of CircoLoco Records is especially notable. Rockstar previously partnered with the Ibiza label on music projects, and if it becomes an in-game station, it would strengthen the immersion of the electronic and nightlife scenes.
Compared with Previous Entries

GTA5 launched with more than 240 licensed songs and 18 stations, and kept expanding after release. GTA6 adds 34 original tracks on top of that and leans harder into deep collaborations with contemporary artists. The release of an original album is itself a new move for the series, letting players get a feel for the sound of Leonida before they even step into the game.
Summary
GTA6’s radio system is anchored by an official original album, paired with classic licensed tracks and a wide range of styles, in an attempt to present a sonic map of Florida that is both nostalgic and modern. From Travis Scott’s rapping to Keith Richards’ rock, from Latin rhythms to country highways, players will be surrounded by these melodies while driving, chasing, and exploring day to day.
The full station lineup and complete track list will have to wait for the official release on November 19, 2026. Until then, the six singles already out and the trailer music are enough to sink players early into the musical atmosphere of Leonida.
